Policy Advocate
Kelsey is a lifelong resident of Ventura County, graduating from California State University of Channel Islands in 2019 with degrees in Nonprofit Business Management and Political Science. She began her advocacy during her undergraduate career. She worked at International Rescue Committee and represented multiple organizations at the Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations Headquarters.
In 2021, Kelsey earned her Master of Arts in Peace and Justice with an emphasis in Human Rights Advocacy and Environmental Justice from the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies. Kelsey fell in love with San Diego and decided to stay in the area after graduating. She is dedicated to helping ALL communities in San Diego live in a healthy, safe, and prosperous environment.
In her free time, Kelsey enjoys CrossFit, exploring new coffee shops, attending baseball games, and spending time with her dog and best friend, Mila.
