Logan Community Organizer
Juan is based in San Diego, Calif Aztlán and joined EHC in 2023. He brings a plethora of grassroots organizing experience. Serving indigenous, Chicano and other marginalized communities throughout San Diego. He currently serves as the Logan Community Organizer, working towards environmental justice in the San Diego/Tijuana region and throughout California. Juan was born and raised in San Diego, specifically residing in the communities of University Heights, National City/Chula Vista and Logan.
He obtained his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from San Diego State University in the fall of 2021 and is pursuing a law degree in International and Comparative Law.
