The City of National City is embarking on a Focused General Plan Update and a Climate Action Plan Update.
The General Plan is a guiding document for achieving the community’s vision for the future. It outlines what people can build in the City, such as houses, parks, warehouses, and in what part of the City they can build it.
The General Plan Update will provide residents and businesses the opportunity to shape the future direction of their community. EHC and residents are working with the City to develop a General Plan that increases housing opportunities, while not leading to gentrification and that locates housing in residential areas safely removed from polluting industries.
